Teperberg is the house winery of the Gordonia Hotel at Maale Hahamisha. This family winery was founded in Jerusalem’s Old City in 1870 and was the first to be established in the Land of Israel in the modern era. Today, the winery produces millions of bottles every year and is an important landmark on the Judean Mountains wine route. Its vineyards cover almost 5 acres at the foot of the Deir Rafat Monastery. When you stop by the new visitor center, you can discover the impressively advanced production methods, sample a variety of wines, and learn about the storied history of this winemaking dynasty.
