Famously the place where David defeated Goliath, the Valley of Elah is also renowned as an ideal site for growing wine grapes. The founders of the Ella Valley Winery have taken full advantage of the area’s unique conditions, while also maintaining stringent kosher standards that enable their wines to reach an especially wide audience in Israel and overseas. The winery is open for tours and tastings by appointment only. Groups of 10 or more people can combine a wine tasting with a tour of the winery and even participate in the winemaking process. On Fridays, a food menu is served until 4pm, accompanied by live music.
