Nahal Shnir (Hatzabani)
Nahal Shenir, also known as Hatsabani or Nahal HaBanias, is an excellent destination for a family trip in the Golan Heights region. You can reach Nahal Shenir through central cities such as Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and drive north towards Kiryat Shmona. From there we continue towards the Banias nature reserve where the Shenir stream flows.
In the stream you will find a series of gentle waterfalls and shallow pools, perfect for children to wade and play in. The lush green vegetation creates a refreshing atmosphere and this is definitely an ideal place for a picnic or a leisurely walk along the marked paths. While touring Nahal Shenir, you can also visit the archaeological remains of the ancient city located nearby.
